It's one of my favorite wineries in the area. Their Chardnnay has definite oak and vanila. The new Zinfandel is fruity but not jammy, bright. I miss its Symphony that is no longer made.

The first time we drove up to Anderson Valley, we decided to stop here and taste some wines. It turned out to be a fantastic spontaneous decision! First, the winery is incredibly beautiful with the oak trees. Then the owners Tom... and Teresa are so welcoming and excellent story tellers. And the wines! We usually don’t get many white wines but both the white and reds at Artevino are delicious! We joined the wine club on our first visit and now we go to Anderson Valley regularly, mostly for the wine :) our dog loves it here too!read more

This is the quintessential winetasting experience. The wines are delicious, and your host while tasting is usually the owner winemaker. The setting is bucolic, and it is very dog friendly. What a treasure this winery is! We found out about this winery through friends and are so happy we checked it out. First of all, the owner, Tom, is a legendary host if you ever get the pleasure of tasting wine with him. Come for... the delicious wines, stay for Tom's tales. We have been back several times with friends and joined the club the first time because of our positive experience. The wines are all handcrafted and natural and tasty... I love the cowboy red as a "goes with anything wine" and any of their chardonnays as a non-chardonnay drinker. Do yourself a favor and get on over to Maple Creek to have a fun afternoon tasting wine, looking at Tom's art, and enjoying the tucked away property.read more

This is my favorite winery! I look forward to making a day just driving to it and spending time enjoying the good company of Tom and the others that offer wine tasting. The wines that are produced are my favorite, with a ton of... varieties to choose from, unlike other wineries that only specialize in reds or whites only. All of the wines made here are delicious and reasonably priced! The winery itself is set off the road under shady trees, which makes for a delightful setting to sit outside to enjoy tasting the wines. I've been a member there for many years and will remain so, as long as he is in business. There has never been a time that I made a trip there that I haven't bought at least a couple bottles of delicious wine. If you are taking Hwy 128 to Mendocino, stop by and sample it for yourself.read more

Each bottle has a lovely complexity, yet is easy to drink and is perfect... for a casual gathering, or a black-tie gala. My husband and I stopped by this hidden gem of a winery on a whim over seven years ago and became friends with Tom, his... workers and his family. The conversation in the tasting room is always personable, passionate and interesting, and the wines are excellent. Plus it would be hard to beat the natural beauty of the property. Im not one for big fancy wineries. I prefer the intimate, friendly locations and this absolutely fits my ideal of the perfect winery - good people, charming atmosphere and outstanding wines.read more
